PRESENTATION OF THE REPORT OF THE WORKING GROUP ON INTERNET GOVERNANCE, 18 JULY 2005

The WGIG Report was presented in the United Nations Office in Geneva on 18 July 2005. Simultaneous interpretation was available in all six UN languages.

WGIG Chairman Nitin Desai and Executive Coordinator Markus Kummer presented the Report in the morning session and invited all stakeholders to make general comments or ask questions. WGIG members actively participated in the discussions. In the afternoon, a panel of WGIG members introduced the four issue clusters and the recommendations to address Internet-related issues. A second panel, composed of representatives of all stakeholders, discussed the multi-stakeholder experience in the WGIG process. Each panel was followed by a Q&A session.

The full transcripts from the morning and the afternoon session proceedings are available.

The Meeting was webcast and real-time transcripts of the proceedings were made available. The webcasting was provided by OMSP (Open Media Streaming Project).
