The WGIG Report was presented in the United Nations
Office in Geneva on 18 July 2005. Simultaneous interpretation
was available in all six UN languages.
WGIG
Chairman Nitin Desai and Executive Coordinator Markus
Kummer presented the Report in the morning session and
invited all stakeholders to make general comments or ask
questions. WGIG members actively participated in the
discussions. In the afternoon, a panel of WGIG members introduced the four issue clusters and the
recommendations to address Internet-related issues. A
second panel, composed of representatives of all
stakeholders, discussed the multi-stakeholder
experience in the WGIG process. Each panel was
followed by a Q&A session.
