Mrs. Beji holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence
and an MS in Computer Science engineering. She is a professor and researcher at
the University of Tunis School of Computer Science, and has issued 77
publications in the field of Internet studies. She is member of the Chairs for
the Middle East, African and Emerging Nations IPv6 Task Force, the Ipv6 Forum in
Tunisia, and AINC. She also coordinated a number of international research and
education projects such as CMCU (Franco Tunisian University Cooperation
Committee) and AUPELF (Francophone Agency for Higher Education and Research).
She previously held the positions of INRIA and CNRS researcher in France,
teaching assistant at the University of Nancy (France), visiting researcher to
the Universities of Brussels, California and Toronto, and visiting researcher to
the power plant of Cadrarache in France. She also served as director in charge
of the Internet at the Cabinet of the Tunisian Secretary of State for
Informatics.
