Geneva, Counselor, Permanent Mission of Iran to the UN

 

Peiman Seadat received a B.A and an M.A. in International Relations from the Iranian University of International Relations (affiliated to the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs). He is counselor at the Permanent Mission of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva, dealing with ITU, WHO, G15 and Sustainable Development issues. He was Chief negotiator of the Iranian Delegation to the WSIS phases 1 and 2, Coordinator of several paragraphs of the Declaration of Principles and Action Plan of the first phase of the WSIS, Member of the Iranian Delegation to the ITU Council and other ITU meetings and Member of the WSIS Working Group of the ITU Council. Prior to his assignment in Geneva, Mr. Seadat served as an Expert then as a Second Secretary and Deputy Head of the Division on International Economic Affairs in charge of Multilateral Environmental Agreements at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
