FIRST MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP ON
INTERNET GOVERNANCE

The Working Group on Internet Governance (WGIG) met
at the United Nations in Geneva on 23, 24 and 25 November
2004. Open Consultations were held on 24 November. Click here for

In order to meet the concern expressed by all participants
in the September consultations for the need for an open,
transparent and inclusive process, a round of consultations
open to all governments and stakeholders was held in
conjunction with the first meeting of the WGIG.

The Group agreed to use the following preliminary draft
outline
as a basis of future work.
WGIG Members agreed to prepare working papers on each of the
issues contained in this list.
